The requirement

What changes with mandatory digital spray records

Plant protection treatments must reach the authorities in digital form, through each region's register. If you already record them in software, it makes sense for them to come from there rather than typing them again into another application.

With GAP, the season's treatments are sent at the click of a button, in the format your region requires.

GAP sends treatments to the digital farm register (CUE) through your region's official service, either as the grower or as an authorised entity. That is the route by which the data reaches SIEX, the farm information system of Spain's Ministry of Agriculture.

Plant protection treatment order in GAP: targets by estate, variety and plot, items with pre-harvest interval, pests, applications and signatures

How it works

Three steps from GAP

  1. Import your farms from the REAGAP imports your holdings and plots from the REA (Spanish farm register) exactly as the authorities have them on record.
  2. Send the logbook at the click of a buttonThe season's treatments go to your regional government's system, in the format it requires.
  3. Check that it has been acceptedGAP checks the status of every submission and alerts you if the authorities ask for a correction.

A cooperative, marketing company or advisory firm? As an authorised entity, you can send the logbooks of all your growers from GAP.

Before sending

Treatments recorded properly from the field

A digital field logbook is only as good as the data it holds. In GAP, treatment orders are issued by estate, variety and plot, with their products and active substances, and work reports can even be recorded with a photo or a voice note.

If you want to go over the data each treatment record must include, we explain it in the farm records guide.
